Members’ Group Consultation – Undocumented People’s Access to Adequate Housing and Shelter

Registration is closed for this event

We are pleased to invite you to this online consultative meeting, co-organised by PICUM and FEANTSA, under the framework of the joint report both organisations are drafting on Undocumented People’s Access to Adequate Housing and Shelter, with a focus on undocumented children, families, and young people. It will take place on Wednesday, 11 June 2025, from 10:00 – 12:00 CEST.

The report analyses the relevant legal and policy frameworks, explores the intersection of homelessness and migration, and expands on the barriers undocumented people face in accessing housing, alongside the self-made solutions and survival strategies they employ.

This session will offer a space for exchange on the topic of housing among undocumented people, allow us to gather your feedback to help shape the final report, discuss targeted recommendations, and reinforce our collective advocacy efforts. It will also feature interventions from experts who will share their insights on key issues related to undocumented people’s access to housing.

Registration deadline: Tuesday, 10 June 2025 EOD

The language of the meeting is English and we will offer interpretation in French and Spanish upon request. Please note that we could only provide interpretation to those who register before Monday, 26 May 2025 EOD. Please, note that by requesting interpretation, you are confirming your commitment to attend the session.

Further details, including a list of discussion questions and information on the speakers, will follow closer to the date.
